The Disaster Artist (2017)

Most people will probably have heard of the cultural phenomenon that is The Room by now. It's recognized as the worst film ever made, and the famous line "You're tearing me apart, Lisa!" can be heard in film schools all over the world.

But as fun as it might be to laugh at the inadequacies of terrible auteur Tommy Wiseau, this biographical comedy about the making of The Room is probably even more fun.

And not only is it tear-wipingly funny, but somehow it also manages to go beyond mere ridicule, and spin the whole thing into a touching story about following your dreams.
