Thailand is a country of lucid laws, where anything goes as long as you have a thick enough wallet. This is also true for Thailand's movie business, which has really come to bloom in recent years.

When Thai movies are good, they are often a hard, brutal, boundary bending, taboo breaking and over the top, just like this cute film about an autistic girl who literary kicks ass. The actors all take a lot of real beatings, and get seriously injured a bunch of times, but they don't seem to care. They're making a movie! And their joy of film-making shines through the screen.
