C.H.U.D. stands for Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers, and that pretty much sums up the whole film. The fact that the filmmakers came up with the word CHUD at a party and made up the film around that, explains a lot.
It's badly shot, loaded with crappy actors, full of silly dialogue, cramped with campy clichés and generally glowing from a bunch of guys having a lot of fun making a movie.
All in all a great beer drinking movie.
